The Naga Pro features three detachable panels allowing you to have excellent versatility and flexibility no matter what you play. It is indeed quite hard to find a perfect gaming mouse - the one that can do it all. Plus, you're getting a wide range of thoughtful extras that can really elevate the whole experience as well. There's still some extraordinary speed here, though with a heavier form factor this might not be one for super competitive moments. Once enabled (although annoyingly only accessible while running the Synapse software) the wheel will detect when you need to scroll faster and automatically switch its modes for a super smooth experience.Īt its core, the latest Razer Basilisk is the same versatile pointer that we've always come to love. The magic happens when you enable the automatic switch function in Synapse, though. You've got two scroll modes here, a tactile and controlled clicky scroll and a free-wheeling spin. Perhaps the biggest feature, though, is the smart scroll wheel. You're getting a pretty powerful RGB underglow effect that offers up one of the more innovative LED uses we've seen in a long time, as well as new second generation switches in the main clicks. Packed with personalization and RGB options, it's an easy recommendation, even if just for the unique features on offer over other models in the range. Wireless, wired, simple layouts, or mega programmable buttons: you name it, Razer has it in rodent form. I still have the keyboard for obscure button presses, usually like menu or map or such.Īnyway, I said all that to say the G604 is often on sale and its a great mouse because the side buttons are easy to reach and use and I use it in FPS games as well as many other PC games with this set up. My reservation with mouse and keyboard was movement, I didn't like WASD vs having a control stick. It took me a while to get used to it, but I love it.

I use ReWASD software to set this up and make it so that the Xbox controller is not recognized in Steam for instance. I have melee (typically C) assigned to the middle mouse click, crouch to pushing the mouse wheel to the right and B for pushing the mouse wheel left. It has 6 side button that I have assigned to R,E,X,V,F,Z. I have a Logitech G604 wireless gaming mouse.

I have WASD, Space, Q, and Shift set up to an XBO controller, I also use the D pad for whatever else I need per game and tab and escape are set up as well using the middle buttons. I have a very weird FPS setup but it works for me and gives the the best of both worlds.
